Dylan and Sydney met on Tinder a little over three years ago, and from the start, there was no denying the connection. Dylan was immediately drawn to Sydney—he thought she was breathtaking, confident, and completely put together. Sydney, on the other hand, found Dylan very cute, funny, and effortlessly easy to talk to.Their first date is one they’ll never forget… mostly because it lasted three days. Fresh off New Year’s Eve celebrations, they spent it battling hangovers—but somewhere between headaches and recovery, they got to know each other in a way that made everything else click.It didn’t take long for things to get serious. Dylan realized it when he was willing to fix Sydney’s car, and Sydney knew when Dylan didn’t hesitate to clean the hair out of her shower drain—true love in its purest form. From there, life moved quickly: moving in together after just a month, Sydney finally asking Dylan to be her boyfriend (because someone had to), and building a life side by side.Over the years, they’ve shared countless milestones—finding their kitten Apollo under a car in Lake City during an emotional time, moving to Minnesota, buying their first home, welcoming Artemis and Oakley into the family, and watching Dylan start his business.When it came time to propose, Dylan made sure it was perfectly them—no frills, no waiting. Even though their dinner plans fell through, he knew he didn’t want to spend another second without asking, proposing to Sydney while she was in her underwear, hair bonnet, and face mask… and it was absolutely perfect.Today, Dylan and Sydney love the life they’ve built in Minnesota. Whether they’re spending time with friends and family, chasing new adventures, or just enjoying a quiet day together, they wouldn’t have it any other way. They both agree—they’ve found something truly special in each other: a relationship full of love, warmth, and laughter.

The Confluence restores a prominent building to the city of Hastings and creates a destination, just minutes away from the Twin Cities.
